The incidence of breast cancer is more prevalent in women than in men, but fish oil might lower the risk. Laboratory studies showed that omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids have anti-oncogenic and chemopreventive effects against breast cancer. It combats the production of carcinogens on our body thereby decreasing the risk of developing the disease.
